Terms of Use

1. Parties and scope

These terms govern your use of the Kochi service (the “Service”) provided by SoftWorks Yazılım ve Bilgi Teknolojileri Limited Şirketi (the “Company”; address: Workon Ofis, Küçükbakkalköy Mah. Selvili Sok. No: 4/20, 34750 Ataşehir / İstanbul; email: info@softworkstr.com). By creating an account or using the Service you accept these terms.

2. Description of the Service

Kochi is an AI-assisted interview practice service for university students and recent graduates: it reads your CV, runs a written or spoken interview simulation and gives you a feedback report at the end. The interview is a simulation, not a real employer interview.

3. AI outputs

Questions, feedback, scores and sample answers are generated by AI and may contain errors, omissions or wrong interpretations. Reports and scores are for education and development; they do not guarantee the outcome of a real interview or hiring process and are not legal, professional or hiring decisions. Use the outputs together with your own judgment.

4. Account and user obligations

• You declare that you are at least 16 years old. If you are under 18 (aged 16–17), you may use the Service only with the approval of your parent or legal guardian; this condition is set out in Section 4/A.
• You must provide accurate and current information and keep your sign-in code and email account secure.
• You must use the Service only with your own CV and in your own name; you must not unlawfully upload another person's personal data.
• You must not use the Service for purposes that are unlawful, contrary to public morals or to these terms; overload the system; try to bypass security measures or daily usage limits; or access it in bulk with automated tools.

4/A. Ages 16–17: parent or guardian approval

The Service is not offered to anyone under 16; a person under 16 cannot create an account or use the Service. If SoftWorks Yazılım ve Bilgi Teknolojileri Limited Şirketi (the “Company”) learns that an account belongs to a person under 16, it closes the account and deletes the personal data linked to it.

• A user under 18 (aged 16–17) must declare, when creating the account, that they are under 18 and that their parent or legal guardian (legal representative) approves their use of the Service and their acceptance of these Terms of Use and the Privacy Notice. An account cannot be created without this declaration.
• The declaration is made by the user; the Company does not ask for an identity document or date of birth and does not technically verify age. The Company reserves the right to request additional verification and to close the account if verification cannot be completed.
• A parent or guardian may contact info@softworkstr.com about their child’s account and personal data, and may withdraw the approval at any time. If the approval is withdrawn, the account is closed and the data linked to it is deleted in line with the Privacy Notice.
• For a user under 18, a paid plan may be purchased only with the knowledge and approval of the parent or guardian, using a payment method or store account that is under their control or that they have allowed. For purchases alleged to have been made without the approval of the parent or guardian, the parent or guardian may contact info@softworkstr.com; the request is assessed under the principles on the Cancellation and Refund page and the applicable legislation.
• The Company may close the account of a user who makes a false declaration.

5. Intellectual property

The Service's software, design, texts and brand belong to the Company or its licensors. You keep the rights to the content you upload, including your CV and interview answers; we process it only within the scope described in the Privacy Notice and Consent Notice so that we can provide the Service. Open-source components used in the Service are subject to their own licenses (Settings > Open-source licenses).

6. Fees and subscriptions

A paid plan is required to take interviews; users who have not paid can view the ready-made demo and the sample report. Paid plans (Mini and Plus) are offered as monthly subscriptions: in Türkiye, Mini ₺79 and Plus ₺199 (monthly, VAT included); in the United States, $2.99 and $7.99. In other countries the local prices of the App Store and Google Play apply. The plan name, price, duration and number of interviews included are shown on the purchase screen before you buy.

• Automatic renewal: The subscription renews automatically for the same period at the plan price in effect that day unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; the charge is made to the Apple Account or Google Play account you used to purchase, or (on the website) to your payment card.
• Cancellation: Cancel a Store subscription from the Subscriptions section of your App Store or Google Play account settings; cancel a web subscription from your account settings or by writing to info@softworkstr.com. After cancelling you keep your benefits until the end of the paid period.
• Payment: In the mobile app, payment is taken through the App Store or Google Play; on the website, by credit or debit card through the iyzico payment infrastructure.
• Refunds and withdrawal: For Store purchases, payments and refund requests are subject to the policies of the relevant store (Apple / Google); refund requests are made to the store. For web purchases the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised because the service is performed instantly in electronic form; the refund conditions are in the Cancellation, Refund and Withdrawal Policy.
• Price changes: If the price changes you will be notified in advance as the store or the law requires; where needed the change applies from the next renewal with your consent.
• Without payment: Interviews are not available; only the ready-made demo and the sample report can be viewed. You are never switched to a paid plan automatically and nothing is charged; if you want to take interviews, you choose a plan.
• Interview allowance and use: It renews each subscription period; unused interviews do not carry over. An interview lasts at most 15 or 20 minutes, as you choose; at most 5 interviews can be started within 24 hours.

7. Availability and changes

We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free service; there may be maintenance, updates or interruptions caused by third-party providers. We may change the Service or its features, set daily usage limits or end it; in that case we give a reasonable period so you can download your data. For reasons such as cost control or maintenance we may temporarily pause starting new interviews; interviews already in progress are not affected.

8. Limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Company is not liable for indirect damages, lost profits or lost opportunities arising from use or inability to use the Service or from decisions based on AI outputs. Liability for intent and gross negligence and liability under consumer legislation are reserved.

9. Termination

You can stop using the Service at any time by deleting your account under Settings > Account. In case of breach of these terms or abuse, the Company may suspend or close your account.

10. Personal data

Your personal data is processed as described in the Privacy Notice and the Consent Notice.

11. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Subject to the jurisdiction rules of consumer legislation, the Istanbul Anatolian Courts and Enforcement Offices have jurisdiction over disputes.
